From our central offices, we provide home care and support services to seniors and to persons who need help at home because of illness or disability.
Our flexible approach is tailored to individual needs. We can provide as little or as much assistance as is required, including specialist care services such as dementia care and palliative care, 24 hours a day. Our services include:
- Morning and night-time assistance
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Laundry, cleaning, preparing meals and other household tasks
- Shopping, escorted visits and companionship
- Specialist services, including dementia care and palliative care
- Respite Care/Short Breaks for informal carers
- Prepared meals
When someone approaches us to deliver care, we will discuss their needs and carry out an assessment of their needs and the facilities in their home, which we use to prepare a personal care plan.
The plan will then be submitted to the appropriate person – who may be the person themselves or someone acting for them – with a formal quotation for the cost of services. Plans are also regularly reviewed, to ensure that we continue to deliver the right level of care. A senior staff member will provide support for the first week of our service, to ensure that the care plan is right.
Before starting work with clients, our staff undergoes an intensive in-house training course followed by three days’ shadowing of a supervisor.
